The Lincoln Resource Center organized yet another half-day seminar entitled “See You in the USA” at MARA Technology University (UiTM) on January 31 for 210 students and faculty members of the university’s American Degree Transfer Program.  The seminar included topics on life on an American campus, choosing a U.S. university, preparing for college admission, and conforming with U.S. visa regulations and procedures.  Two Vice Consuls, Neil Phillips and Brock Fox, in additions to Fulbright Commission Educational Adviser Doreen John, engaged the students with entertaining and pertinent presentations and handouts.  The presenters tackled questions ranging from how to adapt to anew environment, finding internships, owning a car in the U.S., to Americans’ first impressions of Malaysia and Malaysians.
