EducationUSA Advisers and U.S. Embassy Consular Officers promoted education in the U.S.A. at the annual Education Fair sponsored by the STAR Newspaper on January 7 and 8.  More than 500 students, parents, teachers and counselors visited the EducationUSA booth where Advisers Doreen John and Barbara Nichols provided information packets and answered many questions with Consular Officers Neil Phillips and Darren Wang from the U.S. Embassy on the process of applying for study in the U.S., scholarship opportunities, and the student visa process.

The booth featured a presentation entitled “Study and Work Overseas – USA.”  The Fair was open to the public on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.  EducationUSA offices are located at the Malaysian American Commission on Educational Exchange (MACEE), the premier location in Malaysia for free information and assistance on seeking higher education opportunities in the United States of America.
