PAO Marrie Schaefer Meets Friends of the Lincoln Resource Center
Counselor for Public Affairs Marrie Schaefer met with 20 senior library and information center directors and coordinators of American Degree Program granting colleges and universities in Kuala Lumpur at a luncheon organized by the Lincoln Resource Center (LRC) September 23rd. Guests representing the Central Bank, the Institute of Strategic and International Studies, the University of Malaya, UNDP, Taylor's University College, INTI International University, and Sunway and SEGI University Colleges were interested in the PAO's perspectives on several U.S. affairs, especially on the forthcoming U.S. elections and visa and consular matters relating to Malaysian students. They expressed great interest in continued cooperation with the PAO, LRC and other Embassy sections.
