LINCOLN CORNERS MALAYSIA

Because the Embassy is closed to the public, the Lincoln Resource Center has partnered with several local public libraries to make available to the Malaysian public special Americana collections called Lincoln Corners. Today there are seven Lincoln Corners in public libraries in Kuala Lumpur, Melaka, Sabah, Sarawak, Terengganu, Kedah and Kelantan (click here).

Special collections of high quality U.S. publications and multimedia products are available for reference or viewing at the Lincoln Corners or for loan. The Lincoln Corners also feature special seminars and other programs which enable Malaysians and Americans to discuss topics of mutual interest and/or to share ideas and learn from each other’s experience. State-of-the-art digital video conferencing facilities donated to the Lincoln Corners in KL, Sabah, Sarawak, and Kedah enable additional programming in this dynamic and globalized world comprising different time zones. Call the Lincoln Corner near you for reference inquiries about the U.S. or call (tel: 2168 5000) or send an e-mail (lrckl.po.jaring.my) to the Lincoln Resource Center at the U.S. Embassy.
