Mrs. Bush's Remarks During a Visit to the National Library Building in Singapore
The National Library
Singapore

1:51 P.M. Local

MRS. BUSH: President Bush and I are so happy to have this opportunity to visit Singapore. We went this morning to the Asian cultures museum and had a great visit there. He's making a courtesy call right now on your Deputy President, because your President is out of the country. And tonight we'll see your Prime Minister and be here for a dinner.

Mrs. Laura Bush visits the National Library Building in Singapore Thursday, Nov. 16, 2006, where she was briefed on the Lee Kong Chian Reference Library and viewed the Singapore and Southeast Asia Collections and rare book display. Thanks, everybody.
