The Office of Agricultural Affairs represents the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) in Malaysia. Its continuing
mission is to represent and promote the agricultural interests of the United States and to support overall efforts to further
U.S. foreign policy objectives in Malaysia.
The office is managed by the Agricultural Attaché, an American Foreign
Service Officer employed by the Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) of the USDA. The FAS mission
is to advance the interests of the agricultural community and the general public by working to develop and expand foreign
markets for U.S. food and agricultural products.
