The Department of State's International Travel Information Program for U.S. Citizens Overseas

Our International Travel Information program is the cornerstone of our efforts to keep the American traveling public aware of problems threatening their safety and security while overseas. As the Department continues to develop information on any potential security threats to U.S. citizens overseas, it shares credible threat information through this International Travel Information program. In addition to our Internet information, travelers may obtain up-to-date information on security conditions by calling 1-888-407-4747 toll-free in the United States or outside the United States and Canada on a regular toll line at 1-317-472-2328.
